Clinical Experience:
My versatile work experiences allow me to assist in the rehabilitation of a variety of patient populations.
- I have specialized in outpatient orthopaedic physical therapy since 2002 emphasizing the combination of strengthening and flexibility programs with manual therapy to assist the patient in returning to pre-injury activity levels.
- I rehabilitated “industrial athletes” when working with many Industrial Park industries in Pryor, OK. This included job specific work hardening programs, job site evaluations, and Functional Capacity Evaluations to help the patient return to work quickly and safely.
- I completed a sports medicine internship and have rehabilitated high school and collegiate athletes.
- I have worked with St. John’s Medical Center in Tulsa assisting the geriatric population with gait and balance training to decrease the risk of falls.
Work and personal experiences:
- I assisted in the development of and was Clinical Coordinator of an outpatient physical therapy clinic in Pryor, OK. After several years in Pryor I was transferred and continued as the Clinical Coordinator in Tulsa. I have since joined as a founding partner of Excel Therapy in Bartlesville.
- My wife and I have a son and daughter and we all enjoy outdoor activities and tail gating at Oklahoma State football games.
Education:
- I received my Masters Degree of Physical Therapy from Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center in 2002.
- I have extensive training in manual therapeutic techniques emphasizing spinal manipulation and soft tissue mobilization techniques.

Heather Pittser, PTA
Heather graduated from Tulsa Community College with a degree in Applied Science/PTA. She has been working as a PTA for 9 years. Heather is married with three beautiful children. In her spare time she loves spending time with her family and reading.
