Mike Flanary, PT
Mike
Flanary has been in clinical practice in Tulsa, OK
since 1994. He graduated from Langston University School
of Physical Therapy and soon after received his certification
for Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist
(CSCS). In 2000, Mike finished his Masters of Science
Degree in Management from Southern Nazarene University.
Over the years, he has specialized in the field of
orthopedic sports medicine. He has also served as a
therapist for the LPGA, Women’s US Open, local
golf courses and country club events as well as numerous
rodeos, soccer tournaments and other community outreach
opportunities such as performing baseball pitching
analyses. Mike’s expertise is an innovative approach
integrating strength training concepts and muscular
balance for the rehabilitation of injured individuals.
Mike is a founding partner and the Vice President
of Excel Therapy Specialists, LLC. He serves the company
as the Chief Clinical Officer and treats patients in
the Tulsa facility. Mike is an avid golfer, OU fan
and enjoys wakeboarding. He and his wife, Jennifer,
have one son and one daughter. |
Tim Minnick, PT
Tim
Minnick received his Bachelor of Science degree in
Psychology from Iowa State University in 1993. He then
attended St. Ambrose University in Iowa to complete
a Masters of Physical Therapy degree. His clinical
career began shortly after graduation and making the
move to Tulsa, OK in 1996. Tim continued to treat patients,
but was quickly promoted into local facility management
and eventually into an administrator position for diagnostic
imaging and physical therapy divisions in Tulsa for
a national healthcare company.
Tim’s primary interest lays in outpatient rehabilitation
and the philosophy behind combining manual treatment
skills with therapeutic strengthening programs to maximize
function.
He is a founding partner of Excel Therapy Specialists,
LLC and serves as President of the company as well
as treating patients full-time in the Broken Arrow
clinic. Outside of his profession, Tim is a mountain
biker and also enjoys snow skiing and hiking. He and
his wife of eleven years, Carrie, have a daughter and
a son. |
Shawn Mayes, PT
Shawn graduated from Arkansas State University and moved to Tulsa with his family in 2000. Shawn’s background is in orthopedics and sports medicine which has allowed him to treat a wide array of people including: weekend warriors, post-surgical patients and minor league athletes. Shawn has four beautiful children who keep him extremely busy with school projects, soccer games, races, etc. On the rare occasion that Shawn has any free time he loves to run, golf and pursue the elusive large mouth bass. Shawn is also a huge Chicago Cubs fan - a testimony to his persistence and long suffering. Shawn has been richly blessed for the last 17 years in his marriage to his wife Arlene. |
