Katie Watson, PT
Katie
Watson received her Bachelor of Science degree in
Physical Therapy from Langston University in 1999.
Her varied experience includes pediatrics, inpatient,
outpatient and home health treatment. Most recently,
she served as a hospital and outpatient therapy based
Director of Rehabilitation.
Currently Katie treats patients in the Muskogee outpatient
facility which offers general orthopedics, onsite aquatic
therapy and sports medicine. Katie also treats Muskogee
High School Rougher athletes at the EXCEL Therapy clinic
onsite at the Indian Bowl in Muskogee.
Katie’s interests are yoga, golfing, biking
and outdoor activities. In addition, Katie enjoys lake
living and spending time with family and friends. |
Tim Minnick, PT
Tim
Minnick received his Bachelor of Science degree in
Psychology from Iowa State University in 1993. He then
attended St. Ambrose University in Iowa to complete
a Masters of Physical Therapy degree. His clinical
career began shortly after graduation and making the
move to Tulsa, OK in 1996. Tim continued to treat patients,
but was quickly promoted into local facility management
and eventually into an administrator position for diagnostic
imaging and physical therapy divisions in Tulsa for
a national healthcare company.
Tim’s primary interest lays in outpatient rehabilitation
and the philosophy behind combining manual treatment
skills with therapeutic strengthening programs to maximize
function.
He is a founding partner of Excel Therapy Specialists,
LLC and serves as President of the company as well
as treating patients full-time in the Broken Arrow
clinic. Outside of his profession, Tim is a mountain
biker and also enjoys snow skiing and hiking. He and
his wife of eleven years, Carrie, have a daughter and
a son. |
Angela Bivin, PTA
Angela attended Carl Albert State College and graduated with an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences in 2008. She has experience working in both acute care and rehabilitation settings. In her spare time, Angela enjoys playing outside with her son, bowling, swimming, and just hanging out at home relaxing. |
