(Ardmore, OK) -- A new clinc name, but the same locations and the same faces you know and trust. Local physical therapists, occupational therapist and athletic trainers have joined together to form an employee owned and operated physical therapy and sports medicine clinic in Ardmore, OK.

Excel Therapy Specialists, LLC has opened a new physical therapy clinic on April 11, 2005 located at 2002 12th Street NW, Suite “A”, in the Surgeons Plaza. The clinical staff includes physical therapists Jeff Clemons, PT/ATC and Amy Thompson, PT; physical therapy assistant Jodie Clemons, PTA; occupational therapist Sue Steele, OT and certified athletic trainer Dennis Thompson, ATC. The front office is managed by Angelia Simmons. Even though this is a new clinic, this group of healthcare providers have worked together for 8 years and have over 63 yeas of combined experience treating the injured residents of Southern Oklahoma.

Excel Therapy offers physical therapy and occupational therapy for all types of hand and orthopedic conditions, surgical and non-surgical. Excel offers aquatic therapy in our on-site heated therapy pool.

Additionally, Excel Therapy has an outreach sports medicine program which works with the area high school coaches to prevent athletic injuries and works with the coaches and athletes to assist in their safe return to sports. Excel also provides athletic event coverage for special events across Southern Oklahoma.
